One to one personal training in Pinner.

An hour in a private studio with Carol. One person in the room, and it is you.

“I started after a knee operation I was struggling to recover from. Carol has managed to get me walking again unaided.”

What the hour looks like.

Nothing gets loaded until Carol has watched you move. Technique comes first and weight comes second, which is the part most people never got taught, and it is why clients who arrived certain they would hurt themselves are still here years later.

Your programme is written for you and then rewritten as you go. A stiff knee or a bad night’s sleep changes the session. Carol works with whatever turned up that morning. Every hour finishes with assisted stretching, which is part of the session and not something extra you book.

More about Carol

Carol crouched beside a client on the bench, guiding a press.

You’ll be the only one in here.

Carol books one person at a time, so there is no queue for the rack and nobody watching you learn something for the first time.

Racks, dumbbells, cables, bands and a bike, which is more than enough for anyone who is not competing. The studio is on Village Way in Pinner.

Coming back from something?

Plenty of the people here started while coming back from an operation, an injury or a long stretch of pain. Others are training through menopause, or picking it up again after twenty years away. Most people here started as beginners.

Carol has been a Level 3 Personal Trainer since July 2017 and is fully insured. Carol is a trainer, not a clinician, so the diagnosis stays with your physio or GP. She builds the sessions around what they have already advised.

One hour in the studio

An hour with Carol in the private studio at Village Way, built around your body, your goals and anything that currently hurts. That covers the session and the programme she writes for you. Nothing to commit to beyond the first one.

Training online instead?

From the reviews.

It is my first time doing any exercises and never been to a gym before. Seeing it really helped me feel comfortable that I am in the right place.
Divine Grace
Carol is an amazing trainer who treats me as an individual body, not as an age and weight.
Jacq
She’s managed to significantly improve the leg pain that I’d previously been experiencing for years. For the first time in my life I no longer dread exercising.

Before your first session.

No. Most people here started as complete beginners, or after years away from exercise. The first session is built around where you are now, not where you think you should be.

Yes. Carol has coached from her own studio in Pinner since 2017. About two thirds of the people she trains are women, and most are over 40.

Plenty of Carol’s clients came to her while coming back from one. She is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and fully insured. The diagnosis stays with your physio or GP, and she builds the sessions around what they have already advised.
