One to one personal training in Pinner.
An hour in a private studio with me. One person in the room, and it is you.
“I started after a knee operation I was struggling to recover from. Carol has managed to get me walking again unaided.”Michael, Google review
What the hour looks like.
Nothing gets loaded until I have watched you move. Technique comes first and weight comes second, which is the part most people never got taught, and it is why clients who arrived certain they would hurt themselves are still here years later.
Your programme is written for you and then rewritten as you go. A stiff knee or a bad night’s sleep changes the session. I work with whatever turned up that morning. Every hour finishes with assisted stretching, which is part of the session and not something extra you book.
You’ll be the only one in here.
I book one person at a time, so there is no queue for the rack and nobody watching you learn something for the first time.
Racks, dumbbells, cables, bands and a bike. Everything you need to get properly strong, and no queue for any of it. The studio is on Village Way in Pinner.

Coming back from something?
Plenty of the people here started while coming back from an operation, an injury or a long stretch of pain. Others are training through menopause, or picking it up again after twenty years away. Most people here started as beginners.
I’ve been a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer since 2017, with years of experience coaching people through different stages of life, changing physical capabilities and individual challenges. My focus is strength, mobility and confident movement, always tailored to the person in front of me.
I’m a strength coach, not a clinician. Medical diagnosis and treatment remain with your GP or physiotherapist, and I work within their guidance where appropriate.
What happens in a consultation.
Two hours, sat down properly, before anybody picks anything up.
Getting to know you
Your goals, your health and exercise history, any injuries past or present, your lifestyle, and what your week actually looks like.
A PAR-Q
The standard health questionnaire everyone fills in before they start training. It is there so I know about anything that matters before we move.
How you move
A movement assessment covering mobility, balance, stability and strength. I am watching how you move naturally, not how you think you are supposed to.
What it is for
Understanding your body: what feels good, what does not, and how to make training work around it. There is nothing to pass and no such thing as perfect movement.
What happens after
You leave knowing what I would recommend and why, and I send you a full written report afterwards to keep. That is yours either way, whether you go on to train with me or not. If you do, I write your programme around what I have actually seen, rather than handing you something off a template.
What it costs.
£80two hours
Consultation
Two hours going through your goals, your history and how you actually move, before any training starts. It is the most useful thing you can do first.
£65per hour
One hour in the studio
An hour with me in the private studio at Village Way, built around your body, your goals and anything that currently hurts. That covers the session and the programme I write for you. Nothing to commit to beyond the first one.
From the reviews.
It is my first time doing any exercises and never been to a gym before. Seeing it really helped me feel comfortable that I am in the right place.Divine Grace
Carol is an amazing trainer who treats me as an individual body, not as an age and weight.Jacq
She’s managed to significantly improve the leg pain that I’d previously been experiencing for years. For the first time in my life I no longer dread exercising.Lewis
Before your first session.
No. Most people here started as complete beginners, or after years away from exercise. The first session is built around where you are now, not where you think you should be.
Yes. I have coached from my own studio in Pinner since 2017. About two thirds of the people I train are women, and most are over 40.
Plenty of my clients came to me while coming back from one. I am a Level 3 Personal Trainer and fully insured. The diagnosis stays with your physio or GP, and I build the sessions around what they have already advised.
The Studio, 151 Village Way, Pinner HA5 5AA. A short drive from Hatch End, Eastcote, Rayners Lane, Northwood and Harrow.
Book the first hour.
Tell me what is going on with your body and what you would like to be able to do again. I will take it from there.
