What happens to your details.
Carol runs this business on her own. Nothing you send here is sold, rented, or added to a mailing list.
Who is responsible
Carol Sillitoe, trading as CS Personal Training, The Studio, 151 Village Way, Pinner HA5 5AA. She is the person to contact about anything on this page, at cspersonaltraining1@gmail.com or 07714208017.
What the form collects
Your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, which service you are asking about, and whatever you write in the message box. Those five things are the only ones passed on. The form does carry two hidden fields: one is a spam trap that a person never sees and never fills in, the other records the moment the page opened so that submissions made in under three seconds can be treated as automated. Neither identifies you.
Calling or messaging instead
If you ring, Carol has your number in her phone. If you use the WhatsApp button, the message goes through WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, and is covered by their terms rather than this page. Either way she holds what you have given her and uses it for the same single purpose.
Why
So Carol can answer you. That is the only reason it is collected and the only thing it is used for. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked her a question and she needs your details to reply.
Who else handles it on the way
Three companies, none of whom use it for anything of their own. Cloudflare hosts this website and passes the form on. AI Takes Axion, the agency that built the site, runs the server that routes the enquiry into email. Google delivers that email and stores it in Carol’s inbox.
How long it is kept
Enquiries stay in Carol’s inbox while there is a reason to keep them, and are deleted when there is not. If you become a client, your details are kept for as long as she coaches you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask her to delete them sooner and she will.
Cookies, and what this site does instead
Nothing is measured unless you say yes to it. If you do, Google Analytics sets a cookie so Carol can see how many people visit and which pages get read. It is not used for advertising, and Google’s advertising signals are switched off. Say no and no cookie is set at all. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. Separately, and whichever you choose, the site remembers on your own device that you closed the WhatsApp prompt so it does not come back on every page.
Where it is processed
Cloudflare and Google are American companies, so your details may be handled on servers outside the UK under the safeguards those companies have in place. The server that routes the enquiry into email is run by AI Takes Axion in the UK.
Fonts
The typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the address you are connecting from when a page loads. No other third party is contacted.
What you can ask for
A copy of what Carol holds about you, a correction, or deletion. You can also object to her holding it at all, which matters here because she relies on legitimate interests rather than on your consent. Email her and she will sort it. If you are unhappy with how it is handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
